Intended use
The AVK is more than just a unit-side connector – in fact, it is a complete pneumatic control unit. This control unit is a modular and space-saving system for controlling dental medical instruments and switching the specific power, water or air supply on or off as required.
When the unit is in standby, all media and electric contacts are isolated from each other. It is actuated via a pneumatic signal. As a result, all connected media and electric contacts are connected with the instrument hose.
Any number of AVKs can be connected in series. The same media lines can be used for all instruments. The flow rates (water, spraying air, cooling air and propellant air) can be individually adjusted at every AVK. The unit is completely maintenance-free, and in the event of a fault every individual part can be replaced separately.
